ALBERT GONZALO (Tarragona, 1954- Barcelona 2014).

After graduation at the School of Arts and Crafts in Tarragona, he obtained his PHd in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. His first individual exhibition took place in 1976 at Nártex Gallery in Barcelona in 1976. Since then he exhibited regularly in Spain as well as in many european cities as Berlin, Montpelier, Paris and Oporto. 

The huge fascination that he felt for foreign cultures and ancient civilizations led him to a large number of trips. Temples, graves and sacred places began to be subjects on many of his paintings.

He is a multidisciplinary artist who treats with color and material with spontaneity mixing abstraction and figuration.
